I’m Ken Huang, a web develpoer:

Hi there! I’m an 80s-generation person, living in Nanchang, Jiangxi Province, China. Nanchang is a passionate and lively city, welcome to visit.

Nanchang has a long history and rich cultural heritage:

In 202 B.C., the great general of the Western Han Dynasty, Guan Ying, built a city here, originally known as Guan Ying City. After more than 2,200 years, it has also been known as Yuzhang, Hongzhou, and Longxing, etc. In the Ming Dynasty, it was officially named Nanchang, which means “prosperity in the south” and “flourishing in the southern region”. Nanchang is the location of the county, prefectural, and state governments in past dynasties, as well as the political, economic, technological, educational, and cultural center of Jiangxi. It is a place where humanities converge, and it is known for its “precious natural resources and outstanding talents” throughout ancient and modern times. Nanchang is also a “heroic city”. The August 1st Uprising here marked the first shot of the armed resistance against the reactionary rule of the Nationalist Party, and it is known as “the place where the flag is raised”. Red sites such as the August 1st Uprising Memorial Hall, the former site of the New Fourth Army Headquarters, and the Jiangxi Revolutionary Martyrs Memorial Hall can be seen everywhere. The first ship of the Type 055 missile destroyer, a national heavy weapon, was named “Nanchang”.

My hometown is Henan, which has a long history and splendid culture. It is the root of the world’s Chinese ancestors and the source of Chinese civilization. It is a place with outstanding people and a rich heritage, and is also an important birthplace of Chinese surnames.
